CILECT Congress 2026 will bring together the leading educators in film, television and media from over 60 countries to Dun Laoghaire, Dublin from 27 - 31 October 2026. Hosted by the Institute of Art, Design and Technology (IADT), the Congress will explore the theme "Film Education: ReMastered" examining the future of creative education, emerging technologies, AI and new approaches to storytelling and collaboration. 

As part of CILECT Congress 2026, SLEEPERTOWN will also premiere a new site-responsive work at IADT Carnegie library, created by students from ReSound - the European Sound Masters at IADT. Developed with SLEEPERTOWN curators Richard Carr and Anthony Kelly, the project celebrates a new collaboration with international sound artists and practitioners arriving in the town.
